Oklahoma has also added a pair of commitments -- Cedar Hill OL Adam Shead and Cibolo Steele WR Sheldon McClain. McClain is a perfect fit for that OU receiver mold -- tall, long and fast. He averaged almost 20 yards per catch in 2008 and caught four touchdowns, so he should mature into a prime-time target in 2009. Between he and RB Malcolm Brown, who is going to be a junior this year, Steele should have one of the top offense in South Texas. Expect OU to come a'callin' for Brown's services in the future. Assuming they haven't already.

Shead is also a big-time talent. He had offers from the majority of the Big 12, but OU was the one he couldn't pass up. Big, physical and athletic, he'll be the anchor for an offensive line that has typically been one of DFW's best. He'll also be the main blocker for RB Ben Malena, who's slated for Texas A&M. With a Big 12-caliber offense like that, expect Cedar Hill to be a regional final favorite for 2009.
