I'm sure it had more to do with the economy and a lot of big corporations not wanting to pay Jerry the big bucks right now then Jerry wanting to call it Cowboy Stadium.

If some big business came around with a big check Jerry would rename it Frito/Lay Stadium and have Cheetos Lane, Dorito Drive and the ever popular Bean Dip Way as the names of the streets leading into it.

Easy on the Frito jokes fellas :) As an employee of the company, i sure as hell would not want our money wasted on naming rights when most of us route drivers still have trucks that do not have air conditioning

Don't forget Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, the Cowboys' new neighbor. In fact, they got out of their naming-rights deal with that corporation which had a bell for a logo and had a bell prominently displayed in the outfield which rung after each Ranger home run just so it could go back to it's semi-original name.

I've been fortunate so far; been seeing a few Doritos, but that's been about it; funny thing is it doesn't seem to be helping my sales at all, so i guess we are just giving away 20% more for nothing. :D

When the economy turns around and a new generation of corporate spenders emerge, someone will eventually come up with enough money that even JJ can't turn it down and they will rename it.

Memorial Stadium was there for what, 70 or 80 years or so before the Gaylord's antied up.

same here. i think ive actually lost some sales cause you cant get as many on the shelf. oh well. Big $ time this week, though. Gotta love bbq holidays when you throw chips.;)
