I think being close to San Diego combined with living in one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world satisfies me plenty...no San Francisco needed.

When I get bored and need some excitement I just walk out my front door any time 24-7. Never any reason to be bored in Vegas. People-watching alone can eat up hours in a day...it's like watching Cops and YouTube drunk videos simultaneously on a porn site.

I'm with Juan on SF. I went once (WITH A GIRL, SO SHUT UP!!!) and it was really nice. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky. It was Fleet Week, so there were always Navy jets buzzing around the city. The food was great, the wine was great, etc.

Everything has a view. The bad part of that is that everything's on a hill. :( My legs were sore when I got home.

Spent a week in SF out-processing from the Navy. A few of us rented a car and had a good ol time. I remember at the one bar, the Holy Cow I think it was, there was this lovely little number that couldn't seem to keep everything inside her top as she danced. Good times, I'd go back.
