It is one of those update-every-day thingies, but here's the OU ones so far...

Demarco Murray is No. 11. (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-8-284/Explosive-Murray-ranks-as-No--11-player-in-Big-12.html)

Trent Williams is No. 14. (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-8-261/OU-T-Trent-Williams-ranks-as-No--14-among-Big-12-players.html)

Chris Brown is No. 19. (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-8-236/OU-s-Chris-Brown-ranks-as-Big-12-s-No--19-player.html)

Jeremy Beal is No. 23. (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-8-216/OU-DE-Beal-ranks-as-Big-12-s-23rd-best-player.html)

Kennan Clayton is No. 35.
Clap for Matt Clapp! He's a man! He's No. 40! (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-8-109/The-Big-12-s-top-40-players-begins-today.html)

Sorry if this has already been posted :)

It will be interesting to see who makes the top 10, but something tells me they have a few Sooners left to name, like Bradford, McCoy and Gresham :D Count so far is...

OU: 6
Tx: 5
Tech: 4
OSU: 4
Miz: 3
KU: 3
BU: 2
KSU: 2
Neb: 1
A&M: ZERO

6 - 10 ??

My guess is somebody, anybody from Texas A&M before College Station burns down ESPN.

I would also guess OU's Gerald McCoy.

We will probably have 4 sooners get drafted in the first round, for 2010.

Bradford
G. McCoy
Gresham
T. Williams

G McCoy and T Williams will be ahead of Jordan Shipley( a.k.a. Colt's butt buddy)

Shipley's going on Jason White-status at UT.

I don't know. I would have thought for sure we'd have a surefire first rounder this year from the O-Line before the draftniks started talking.

From the humor department:

I was watching today's draft show on ESPN today & they had Luginbill & McShay's picks for Mr. Irrelevant. Luginbill's choice was none other than the schnozz picker.

Travis Lewis?

Survey says...

<ding!>

OSU fan: ZAC ROBINSON!

Survey says...

<rrrrr!>

EDIT: They named QB Todd of KU as No. 10, so KU passes MU for now with four players on the list.

No Dominique Franks or Brian Jackson? Ok.

NormanPride

Okay, revised list:

1. Sam
2. Colt
3. Gresham
4. Baylor QB that runs fast
5. GK
6. Bryant
7. Kindle
8-9 ???

ESPN really, really needs to put another Nebbish player and at least one Texas A&M player on their list or they will get tarred and feathers... virtually, of course :)

So let's insert some random A&M player and another Nebbish (not Helu Jr, he was already on the list) for 8-9.

Suh from Nebbish will be there. For A&M, for the life of me, I can't think of anybody who wold be one of the Top 10.

1. Sam-OU
2. Colt-Texas
3. Gresham-OU
4. Gerald McCoy-OU
5. Dez Bryant-OSU
6. Robert Griffin-Baylor
7. Kendall Hunter-OSU
8. Ndamakung (sp?) Suh-Nebbish

If Demarco stays healthy he may get in there as well.

Kendall Hunter is at number 8

I hope DeMarco can stay healthy. When he's on, there's not another running back in the conference (possibly the country) that compares to him.

To update the list...

5. Baylor's Vince Young clone.
6. Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh
7. Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-8-299/OU-DT-Gerald-McCoy-checks-in-as-Big-12-s-No--7--player.html)
8. Oklahoma State RB Kendall Hunter

I linked McCoy's entry above. To recap all Sooners so far, we have McCoy (7), Defensive AD (9), DeMarco (11), Trent (14), Chris Brown (19), Beal (23), Keenan (34), Clap for Matt Clapp (40).

A&M continues to have no players recognized, so at this point, they're probably gonna have nobody recognized, tee hee :D

Any guesses to the top 5? I choose Bradford, Gresham, Kolt McCoy, Shipley and... OSU's Dez Bryant, I guess?

badger
4/29/2009, 05:22 PM
Gresham is No. 4 (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-8-322/OU-TE-Gresham-ranks-as-No--4-player-in-Big-12.html)

NormanPride

3. Bryant
2. Colt
1. Bradford.

Possibly the idiots writing these things will want to make the "upset" by picking Colt over Sam, but perhaps they got that out of their system with Suh over GK.

Sammie is No. 1 over Kolt... and here (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/big12/0-9-4/Bradford-barely-edges-McCoy-for-winning-percentage-edge.html)'s the blogger's spanation why.

So, at what point does aTm come back and say, "Y'know what? Firing Slocum was one of the stupidest things we've ever done, in the history of the school. Although, allowing Bryant to leave (even if they didn't want him to) was probably a bit of a mistake as well."

S'pose it'll be the same week Nebbish admits they should've kept Solich?

I work with an A&M guy who said that exact thing today!
