Well ladies and gents...I'm off. It's my time to be deployed and do my part for my country. Where to? A place with sand...lots of it...and humidity. How long? Four months.

Teh hawt wife is gonna be fine. She's actually got a lot of things on her plate to do while I'm gone (of course, she's gonna find out on Friday that I've arranged for her and my stepdaughter to spend a week in Hawai'i around her birthday in late June).

I'll try to post when I can...I'll have teh internets. If everything goes ok, I'll see y'all at the first tailgate, as I'll hopefully be home by Labor Day.

Hope y'all have a great summer...see ya when it's football season.:texan:

Guess I'll go with: Godspeed darlin'; keep your head down and your powder dry. Stay safe, come home whole, well and soon. Find a Sooner Marine and tell him that a Mom of Two of The Few orders him to cover your six. Boomer Sooner, and stay the hell away from the street vendors selling "some kind of meat". Oh, and those Hadji cigs are naaaasty. Buy a pack for souvenirs, but don't smoke 'em.

Tanker: You guys still have navs on that jet?
Lt Col pilot: Yah, I'd rather have 500 pounds more gas than a nav.
