Yes...this was potentially the big hiccup regarding the continuation of this event. Some residents were not happy with the alcohol consumption and alcohol promoters/sponsorships.

The other sticking point was closing off Main Street for an entire day(s).

All this was overcome and the Festival looks healthy and well-planned.

Gonna be fun! Saturday = 79deg and partly cloudy

The NMF can now sell wrist bands and alcohol themselves which was a big help to the Festival as a whole, more money means bigger and better bands in the future.

Be prepared that if you bring your own cooler and you dont buy a wrist band to be ID'd several times

Man Man will give you one of the most fun live shows outside of the Flaming Lips you can see.

I don't see Ghostland on teh NMF website. Have they been added? They played after The Presidents of the USA at House of Blues last OU/* weekend. Also were at Sasquatch last year.

Of Montreal is playing some big festies this year as well.

i went. just for the sole fact that i hope there are better days ahead, and not just a bunch of norman indie bands doing circle jerks with each other. i really wanted to see of montreal, if for nothing else than to yell out for them to play their outback song. ghey.
