$100 Million? One, hundred, million? **** you.

Congress pushed through a 3,500,000,000,000 dollar budget and now to show he's serious about cutting spending he's giving his cabinet 90 days to find a way to cut .000000285% of the budget.

How the hell do I join the Libertarian party?

I'm telling ya, repub or democrat, we need to clean these guys out after one or two terms. I don't like anyone who wants to be a career politician.

they kinda lose touch with reality.

Picasso is right. People should be there for 8 years max to "serve" their country....not to make a career out of it.

Here is one way, order pizza from across town and not from across the country. ;)

of all the things to latch on to... that pizza party might pay for a fraction of one exec's bonus from one of these bailouts

all this "my guy" vs. "your guy" **** is what keeps these *******s around for their entire careers

Doing the math, this budget cut is roughly equivelant to the interest earned by the economic spendulus package.

IN ONE DAY.

By the same token, it is the same as a guy who makes $100,000 a year announcing that is going to tighten his belt and cut a whopping $3.34 out of his yearly budget.

Don't worry, Johhny, we're going to inflate our way out of this. That is, after Ben Bernanke figures out how to stop the ongoing deflation, first.

Our grandkids will have 100 trillion dollars of debt, but by that time, a Whopper with cheese will cost $10,000 dollars, so it won't be so bad.

Obama proposes 100 million in spending cuts.

Obama calls for spending $100 million for Latin America micro-finance.

So see...it all equals out and is now balanced.

I thought Bush lost his marbles when it came to spending....the new bunch is making him look like a piker.

I long for the good old days of Calvin Coolidge, when it was a virture for the President to basically do nothing.....we'd have been so much better off the last two decades.

You were much much quicker to come around than I thought you would be. Kudos for being honest and being able to not only see a turd laying on the sidewalk but having enough courage to realize you'd rather not wallow around in it just because it was in the path you were walking.

I don't know if the Libertarians are the answer, probably not, but they have my vote for awhile, just can't stomach voting D or R for the foreseeable future.

The answer is system reset, which may be coming soon.

(I'm not talking violent revolution. KC)

We are on an unsustainable path right now with our debt and our spending. We have been for a long time, actually. But today we have Keynesian theory on steroids and are standing on the accelerator towards a cliff.

We will not be able to pay our debt back...we will either default or inflate our way out, which is the same as default.

You'd have to be an absolute sucker right now to buy T bonds.
