I hate to be a it's the umpire guy, but this is ridiculous, instead of 6-4 with the bases loaded and 1 out, it becomes 6-3 with runners on first and third with 2 outs. The ump even knew it, he let Sonny go crazy for a minute longer than he would have normally, the chuck vaughn was going nuts on the radio.

And the sweep is complete with a 8-5 (8) loss today. Pathetic outing in everygame, poor pitching, poor batting means losses. Hopefully we can bounce back this week against Wichita State and down at Waco.

No shame in getting swept by the hottest team in the country...with the nations best pitching staff....at their place.

Does it suck? Absolutely. However, if we could have taken a game down there I would have been happy. All of the things that needed to go "right" that I mentioned in a previous post.....went wrong.

Good pitching/defense beats good hitting every single time. UT had that in spades this weekend.

It is going to be tough sledding the rest of the way.....but the games that may come back to haunt us aren't the UT losses this weekend. It is the Mizzou and Nebraska games that we gave away. Those 2 games are going to be HUGE in the conference standing before it is all said and done.
