My mother passed away this evening. I know you guys do not know me in real life but you have been part of my life for a few years now. I miss her so much already!

My Mom is seriously ill and I know what that is like. I'm sorry to hear yours has made her way to the light. Just know that no matter your beliefs she will always walk beside you.

My mom died almost 8 years ago. Although I can't know what you are feeling, I can relate to your sense of loss. I will share what was shared with me:

Grieve, as you surely must
Miss her, as you surely will
Cry, as is inevitable

BUT, do not begrudge her dying. Reflect on the people whose lives she touched - the people who realize that their lives are better for her having been a part of their lives. Then realize that she is now far better off than any of us who still live. She is reaping the rewards of a life well lived.

I know much of the pain you feel, as I lost my Mama in July. FWIW, if it's acceptable, I send you a huge hug and a gentle mother's kiss in your mama's stead.

Father God, be with setem and family in this time of sadness and loss. Hold them gently in the palm of Your hand, comfort them as only You can.
