Jason Hannan, considered the top center prospect in the country coming out of high school in 2007, will leave Oklahoma and transfer to another school, reports Jake Trotter.

My three cents: This doesn't surprise me. In fact, I'm more surprised that there was some speculation that Hannan might win the vacant center job. During media day before the BCS title game in January, I was talking to some Oklahoma players and assistants about how they'll replace all of the upperclassmen on their O-line, and everyone talked about redshirt freshman center Ben Habern. In fact, they talked about him so much, I ended up going into the stands to find Habern to talk to him more about taking over for the very underrated Jon Cooper.

They have Box backing up T.Lewis and Balogun behind Reynolds. I think Wort could be Lewis' backup and Box will have to try and get in the battle for the MLB spot. Alex Williams may get the start over Good.

Box won't be backing up Lewis unless he doesn't win the MLB job, which I expect him to do.

Concerned about the O-line and free safety. Habern and Good have great potential but it is my understanding that being able to lift a house will not help if somebody can consistently run around you, which has apparently happened a lot this spring. Also, it appears that neither Proctor or Ibby have seized the FS position. This is troublesome. Particularly, with respect to Proctor who has had ample time to learn the position and has had the most reps and opportunity to take the position.

From what I saw this past weekend... it may be Desmond Jackson at strong safety. Carter is a lock for free safety... hard-hitting.

And what's with Tom Wort knocking our own guy around. He got a little carried away... will be a beast at linebacker.

Can't wait for BYU!

I thought they had moved Jackson to CB? Either way I think SS is a battle between Ibiloye and Proctor.

There was some talk about Jackson playing well this spring and being the guy at SS.

I would think Proctor or Ibiloye - if Jackson is the guy though no issues...

It was Bird, not Wort and it wasn't blatantly intentional.

What's the latest prognosis on DeMarcus Granger's recovery from back surgery? Not living in OK I fail to see a lot of what is in the local news, and I remember reading one article last fall which speculated that he would never play football again. Appreciate any updates.

SS = Q Carter
FS = likely S Proctor as of right now.

Any of the challengers will be tested at nickel since we like to run that at times.
