buried in the middle of the 2nd paragraph. weird, placement. it's pretty big news, he was a big rallying point for the Hawkins people to get a blue chip OU wanted. In the same as Darrell Scott (UT) and local CO kid Nick Kasa (who decommits from Florida for CU).

kid just never got it together in or out of the classroom, i'm told.

i think he's from Utah. i'd guess a Mountain West school, like Utah maybe. i bet the Utes would take a chance. the kid is a specimen, i've seen him at the grocery store.
