This kid seems a little - oh...what's the word for it (Is "Jimmy Clausen" an adjective?)? - but, never mind. It is fascinating to see what offer letters look like from different schools around the country.

http://www.qbforce.com/tate/offers/Offers.htm

I don't see this posted elsewhere - apologies if it was.

it would appear that he forgot to block out some phone numbers in those letters. it would also appear that les miles' cell phone number is (225)578-3504

NOOOO! Take that number down! It's for some lady named Sharon Mingham! (sp?)

(yes, I dialed it. wouldn't you?)

EDIT: I called it before reading the letter... it appears that the number is for his assistant... wow, they should have probably edited those letters a little more, but wow does Lester's look form-like, heh.

EDIT 2: Did you notice a certain nat'l championship omission? Are we all getting pwn3d by a photoshopper?

Oh, wow, this site is a terrific find (spek heading your way). They blocked out Gundy's number but it still appears at the top of the letter... it's not his direct line, but it is to their football department, it appears by the guy answering.

(yes, I dialed it. wouldn't you?)

Mikey Stoooops' secretary says...

"Good afternoon, Arizona football recruiting! How may I help you?"

My gawd, that link was so awesome. MORE spek headed your way... :D

EDIT: This guy apparently signed with Michigan... check his Michigan recruiting letter to see what made that letter different, heh.

No, no, no, you all have your OSU recruiting letters wrong. The correct way to re-type them is...

:les: AT OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY, WE ARE INTERESTED IN YOUNG MEN... [hairGel]

Note the ALL-CAPS approach :D

Can't be legit... OSU likes italics way too much to leave them out of their letters. :D

If only Texas had offered: we would have had Mack Brown's number AND pissed ourselves laughing upon reading that:

"In Austin, you too can be a part of *championship* football." Blah ha ha ha!

Someone at EDSBS has a wild imagination. Glad they didn't include the Sooners.

Ty Willingham's letter is a real hoot. What a jackass.

"Duplicition" in whole or part is prohibited but duplication appears to be fair game.

Pretty much sums up his whole sorry approach to that program.

The OSU letter's filename is Oklahoma.htm and titled Oklahoma_Offer. Heh. They get no respect even when we're not involved.

The letters from UNLV and Kentucky are pretty similar. I wonder who borrowed from whom.

The kid's got moxy. On the link showing # of offers (Tate w/34 is second to Georgia-commit Aaron Murray's 52) the background is a pic of him leaping high and stretching the ball for the goal line while being forced out of bounds by two defenders a la Sam Bradford's famous leap. I wonder who he's leaning towards?

Are you talking about Tate? He went to Michigan
