Like a two-year-old who didn't get a Happy Meal, Billy Bob Thornton pouted his way through an interview yesterday on Canadian public radio where he was promoting his band The Boxmasters. The host Jian Ghomeshi apparently made the mistake of introducing Billy Bob as an actor when THE ACTOR only wanted to be introduced as a musician. He became an immediate joy after that.

Billy ain't stoned...he's a controlling perfectionist who expects you to act like a pro. If he tells you to jump through a hoop...you better ****in' do it.

That was a Billy Bob Bitch Slap.

I saw The Boxmasters & Willie Nelson at the Cain's last November. Billy Bob was a completely different animal at that show. He sang lead, played drums, and was extremely humble and appreciative for playing the Cain's. They were great live.

And yeah, monsters are really cool!!

So, tell us Billy, how was it being a raging ****** on Canadian radio?

But then again, if I was under contract to make an appearance at 6 AM on a radio show in Canada, I might act like a ******, too.

He should have asked him about that "**** me Santa!" scene in Bad Santa and asked if Billy would treat him differently if he was a Bartender.

Great stuff. I am imputing a high level of acting ability and an intentional design regarding the recent media appearances with folks like Billy Bob and Joaquin Phoenix. Jerking people's chains and getting publicity - performance art.

Genius if intentional. Moronic if not. (same applies to Rush Limbaugh is my Clone and Tuba).

This quote about summed it up for me...

"Doing an interview with Thornton where you only talk about his music is like doing an interview with Paul Newman where you only ask him about salad dressing."

Billy Bob is overestimating his place in the world.

ya know?

it's too bad because the other band guys seem earnest.

During Hitler's lifetime there was no place called Israel. You just insulted the Canadians as deeply as did Billy Bob.;)

Billy Bob needs to get over himself. If this was a publicity stunt, it seems like he got more than he wanted. I doubt getting kicked off the Willy tour was part of that deal.

I am not too sure calling Canadians mashed potatoes with no gravy is that bad...I've heard worse.

Though BB is a nut job.
