Memphis goes with Pastner

I guess Memphis was holding out hope for Sean Miller.

This is a risky hire. Pastner's very well-respected, but putting a 31-year-old with no head coaching experience into the first chair...man.

On the other hand, Pastner's an amazing recruiter.

Memphis must be going for the talent uber alles approach. Which they can probably get away with in the C-USA. I wonder how well they will be able to hang against similarly talented teams in the postseason though.
