Ok, they just had their little Final Four intro video and had the teams do the "sneaker night" song... and every other team utterly stank at singing and dancing... other than OU.

It seems ESPN agrees with me, because they showed the OU ladies doing their thing over and over, and everyone else they just did quick shots of. Nobody else really got into it.

If we can take anything away from "Put your sneakers on," it's that the women are really excited at St. Louis and the other teams are just trying not to embarrass themselves. :D

Speaking of which, #35 might be the homliest gal I've laid eyes on since my last trip to the circus.

We've got nobody to blame but ourselves. We're running them out of the gym in the first half and then we decide we've got to get busy on our turnover average. 17 tonight, and that's our AVERAGE.

We also miss more lay-ups than any team in basketball.

Congrats to L'ville. You drove to the basket butt-first (Number 50), your coach will be way in over his head tomorrow just like last night, the refs allowed you the chance to make a second-half comeback because everything they couldn't see foul-worthy on the OU offensive end, they d@mn sure could on the L'ville offensive end that first half.

But hey, winning the rights to get embarrassed by UConn, kudos. We made it to the title game in 2002 also, but all we did was hang a Final Four banner, much like we'll be able to do for 2009.

If there is one thing I am not bitter about, it is Stevenson taking that last shot. Sure, she's not really shown a lot of 3-point shooting this season compared to others and she had made, like, one before then last night, but after watching the men's team pass the ball off constantly hoping someone else would take the shot instead of risk missing it themselves, that's exactly what we need when the game's on the line.

I know what Stevenson was thinking when she put that three up (I want to win this game right here, right now!). I think it's a ballsy thing to do, and I applaud her going for it. The only thing I hated was that we were positioned to run over them in OT (with the foul trouble they were in).

However, the more I thought about it, the more I liked the last shot.

I'm proud of both our Sooner hoops teams. How many other schools can brag about having an Elite 8, Final Four and BCS title appearances in the same season? Exactly 1. Us.

:( I'm sorry I sounded so bitter and spiteful. I just really, really wanted this for Sherri and for the seniors. I know that beating UConn was a pipe dream, but then again, it was in 2002 too and I still thought he had a chance then.

It's crazy to think how good Courtney could have been had she actually played her career in shape. She looked horrible in transition all season. Ashley was much better this year then in years past due to the fact that she was in better shape.
