It's a favorable schedule, but I just don't think they're at all set up to be particularly competitive. Although I'm biased 'cause I hate Oregon!!!

Nope. Boise AND Utah?

USC will win it again... and I'm not happy about that.

the fact that they're playing boise and utah has nothing to do with whether or not they'll win the pac 10...nor does the fact that suc is playing at ohio state.

suc will still probably win the pac 10 but I bet they lose to someone they're not supposed to again like they have the past couple years.

I am looking forward to watching the Mitch Mustain saga unfold this year. I wonder if mommy and daddy will call another press conference if he doesn't get the starting job.

It will probably be Barkley or Corp at QB and Oregon gets USC at home so it's Oregon's to lose.

I like scenarios where Oregon loses at least 1 game, especially against that non-con schedule.

Duh. I need to put down the crack pipe.

Bottom line here is that even though we want usc to not win the pac 10, they will. PC, although I hate to admit it, is one heck of a coach. Yes, he loses to teams that he shouldn't, but so does Bob.

Oregon starts off with 2 teams that are traditionally conference dominates, and 1 that is a mid conference contender. They WILL drop at least 1. No, this does not matter in the conference spectrum, but I truly believe that PC is going to have his players ready for the season, especially the conference schedule. He will win in the horseshoe because all ohio suck has to offer is Pryor. His players will run him down without a problem just like they did last year. Oregon may be a test, but they will prevail. To be honest, they have 2 potentially tough games, and both of those are mentioned above. Everyone else will be a practice for them. ND is a friggin joke, ESPECIALLY with that one legged Pillsbury doughboy calling the shots.

While the pac 10 is deceivingly tough (5-0 in bowl games this past year when nobody thought they'd do better than 1-4), usc is their only shot at doing real national damage...and they are capable of it. They could have easily been in, if not won, every national title since their loss to iraq in 2006. usc is just like OU, they don't rebuild, they reload (even though I hate saying that)

yes, but there comes a time when you have a down year. Just like we did in 2005... I think this year will be like that for them..

One big difference: OU had the hardest schedule in the nation that year & it wasn't even close. SC's slate this year? Well, it may turn out that way, but, on paper at least (it's all we've got to go on at this point), not so much.

How many games will Gordon Reese be reffing? I'm sure they'll win all of those.

who really cares what Oregon does outside of Oregon fans? that's the answer. Unless we play them again, that team and their stadium is dead to me.....sorry, still bitter.

I think I made some valid points in this thread, yet they have disappeared.

Nice!
