Gibson is supposed to be a very good prospect in the coming draft. No surprise he's shutting us down, considering he's had CGs against both Texass and ATM. I think he's somewhere in the top 5 in the NCAAs in strikeouts this season.

Just getting out of this game with a win is impressive.

huge win today to wrap up the series win and give us a chance for the sweep tomorrow. 2 of 3 on the road is always awesome, especially with a chance for the sweep. Wish I could have watched today instead of studying. If A&M can drop one more to tech we will be in 1st all by ourselves.

Let's wait until OU has played the other 4 good teams in the Big 12 until we crown them. I think if the bats keep up what they are doing then OU should get to host a regional, though. I'm still not too impressed with the pitching, either.

Our pitching is helter skelter but the key thus far is that our team has shown it can win close games, it can come from behind, it can win slugfests and pitchers duals.

This team reminds me alot of the team a few years ago that had a ton of 1 and 2 run victories and comeback wins, if only one of our pitchers would step up like Mccutcheon did that season and took us to within one win of Omaha

I never said crown em, but I've been to most of the home games and this team wins games and just has fun doing it. This team has what it takes to get to host a regional.

When we've already got more homers than we had all year last year, and our pitching has been adequate, and we're leading the Big-12, and the guys are looking very confident and don't seem to get shaken up much when they go down, I'd have to agree that this is a special team.

If our pitching can become a notch better than adequate, this team will go a long ways.
