41 hostages was the last count I heard, any info on the person holding them?

bad situation up here in NY. still not a lot known, even with the local stations. no apparent motives. binghamton is a good town - working class with some big business influence (IBM). very sad.

Apparently, the shooter was dead (most likely killed himself) by the time police arrived at about 10:30 this morning.

yep that is what i read also... I just don't see how some people have the nerve to do that stuff....... no matter what has happened in your life.

looks like he used plain-old handguns.

I sure wish localities would enforce existing gun laws. Alien zipperheads have no bidness owning guns IMHO.
