I guess you could also say their coach is a carpetbagger, considering she bolted in-state rival Indiana after one year to take over at Purdue, even though it's her alma mater.

Wow, this is the last time I'm starting one of these for women's basketball... at least until we get a more hated opponent :D As for Purdue's Lady Boilermakers...

... are simply irrelevant. If we feared you, we'd loathe you. If we loathed you, we'd care more about your team. Don't be deceived by the high attendance tonight - we're only there to see one team, and it isn't "PUR" or "DUE."

I bet you if we do play UConn for the title, the hatred thread would be at least five pages long. I could do three pages worth myself on why I hate UConn.

With each passing day, I like our chances more and more of beating UConn. But first things first, take care of Purdue tonight then the Ville on Sunday before we even dream about slaying the dragon.
