The new guy with big hair, David Gregory, showed his guest John McCain a tape of the prez saying "the fundamentals of our economy are sound" made just last week.
Then, Gregory asked JSM what he thought about that development given the Prez beat JSM up pretty good as an out-of-touch doddering old fool for having said the same thing during the campaign.
McCain just smiled.
Still, go figure. In American politics, it ain't so much what's said, its the identity of the sayer that matters most.;)
