This phrase is waaaay above my head and I don't understand its meaning.

Any of you know?

I think it means that there is a flight from bonds (bond rates increase) even as the rates on treasurys go down. Also when stocks fall people tend to flee to bonds but in some cases they both fall.

I think this is an indication that people are putting their money in treasurys and don't even trust bonds.

I could be way off though....

I dislocated my bond market in my 20s and I haven't been able to make the full speed cuts since.

Its means things can go one of three ways right now. One is VERY bad, one is very painful but not as bad, and another is less badder than the other two, and only slightly less painful.

Either way, we are screwed if all things remain constant and inflation starts going out of control while the economy is stagnant. Stagflation is what they call it I believe.

I feel for people who think they have a public pension to rely on. They will be in for a shock me thinks.
