I'm sure this has been asked before but where's a good place to stay for the game? BESIDES HOME! The Mrs just approved a guys weekend so anywhere within staggering distance would be great. :D Kidding of course. Any suggestions on hotels in that area? Thanks!

Stay in Arlington???? Hell, I don't even like driving to that town. Jerry is not getting a dime from me.

lots of hotels in that (six flags)area.....i would suggest you find one on the south side of interstate 30 on 360 ....however, there are maybe a few more hotels just on the north side of I 30 and along north 360 across the interstate from six flags......if you want a good steak...go to the trail dust across the interstate from six flags

There will be plenty of rooms. All the LDS will stay at somebodys house.

For the sake of my bank account, I'm staying on the north side of I-30 and will walk the 1.5-2 miles to the stadium. Everywhere I checked south of I-30 wanted waaayyyy too much money for a room and I'm not paying $38 to park anywhere.

If the mrs has to approve it then it isn't a "guy's" weekend. :)

Why are you worried about hotels for BYU? Let them worry about their own lodging.

$38 to park? That can't be the rate to park there.

Is there any info on ticket sales yet? Sorry, this may have already been discussed.

Springhill Suites north of I-30. Free on points. They have a free shuttle to the Ballpark, and I'm pretty sure I can walk from there.

The best thing is that there won't be a bunch of Mormons taking up space in the bars. :D ;)

It's kinda like Baptists, they wont be there in pairs, but beware of single guys drinking Avion hitting on your women.

NOTE: If there are single guys hitting on you, then you are at a Texass game.
