***Send off your Sooners to the Sweet 16***

Sooner Nation! There will be a OU Men’s basketball team send off tomorrow Wednesday March 25 at 4:00PM. The location is the south side of the Lloyd Nobel Center. Let’s send them off the right way to the Sweet 16! For more information please visit soonersports.com.




The band will be there as well as the cheer team. Rumor has it that Coach Capel may even address the crowd for a few minutes.

I remember the first time he addressed an OU crowd with the band and cheer team was when he was announced as the new OU men's basketball coach. A lot of people didn't know who this new guy was, but when someone yelled "Beat Texas!" as Capel approached the podium, Jeff gave a thumbs up.

Even if he's not scheduled to address the crowd, something tells me that if someone says something that will fire up the fans and team more, he will respond :)

This probably isn't the best thread to discuss this topic, it's about the team and a championship run right now, this season. However, when the right time and place comes for this discussion, I'm sure all will agree that Joe C. and the rest of the OU community will do everything possible to acquire and keep the best coaches in all sports.

I really, really wish I could make the team sendoff tomorrow. I hope everything who can, will.
