Did you know there are some people, most likely Maoist's, that don't like it?

Root beer > DP

Since I have been on migraine medicine I can't drink it anymore. It tastes like burning, which makes me like a sad panda.

Root beer > DP

So you're admitting to being a maoist?

I always knew it.

Some Asians say DP tastes like Chinese medicine. I have no idea if they were once Maoists or not.

If you drink the water in Waco, you're actually drinking Dr. Pepper.

If you drink the water in Waco, you're in Waco, which is most unfortunate. DP is available in Oklahoma.

interesting, the only pop I drink anymore is Diet Dr. Pepper which I can find pretty much anywhere, right next to the Dr. Pepper on the shelf.

the only thing that confuses me is how in some states it's bottled by Pepsi, and other states it's bottled by Coke. So it's shelved accordingly to confuse everyone.

Alls I know is that one time at a Baylor game in Waco I had to chase my Crown with DP cause it's all those commie bastards sell in the stadium.

Nowadays, it's only caffeine free diet DP for me - and that's maybe 3 times a year or so.

Scott D
3/24/2009, 03:29 PM
that's only because you're not man enough to bring home any Vernors when you are up this way you bumpkin.

C&CDean
3/24/2009, 03:38 PM
Dude, Vernors is my all time favorite coke. It's kinda like ginger ale on steroids.

Scott D
3/24/2009, 03:46 PM
Yeah, but I hear they have a watered down version up there. The real deal is only available up here bub.

oumartin
3/24/2009, 03:49 PM
what the heck is Vernors?

Scott D
3/24/2009, 03:54 PM
According to the label it's "Ginger Beer", it's pretty much Ginger Ale on steroids like Dean said.

C&CDean

For those homos who like drinks like "Velvet and Ginger" a "Velvet and Vernors" is far superior. Also, if you ever get one of those serious nose burps off Vernors you'll know all about it.

"Velvet" and anything sounds pretty ghey Dean

I don't know that they'd be bottled with Coke since they have Mr. Pibb

it's 7up or RC-Cola that will bottle them, or pepsi (from what i've seen)

In Nebraska, except Omaha, Dr. Pepper is the only Dr./Mr. product available from Coke bottlers.

Yeah...The coca-cola bottlers that distribute DP generally don't have Pibb.

As for tha yankee with no DP...that's weird. I could get it in Clayville NY when I lived there a couple of years ago.

I think it's another North/South thing. Generally don't see Mr. Pibb up here (there are exceptions) but RC is everywhere.
