I am not trying to be a downer or anything because it is impressive. BUT! The wind was blowing out super hard and that helped a bunch. Some of those homers were moonshots that should have been routine fly balls. I will take it though!

So far this year we have hit 40 hrs and given up only 24. Two years ago we only hit 37 and last yr wasnt much better...id say we are hitting the ball better

What I've noticed about this season is that we have given up some large numbers. 4 on Sunday wasn't bad, but the 9 on Friday and the 11 on Saturday weren't good. Luckily, the bats have been crazy so far. Either the pitching or the defense (or maybe both) have got to come around.

Guys, don't be surprised when Doyle isn't pitching on Firdays anymore. I've talked to someone close and Friday nights will soon look a little better, hopefully.
