I'm not listing the games. F*ck you, there's a lot of them. Just pick one and watch.

Stephen F. Austin and Syracuse are kicking our day off before CBS switches the local types to the most visually offensive game of the first round - aggy/Vols.

I'll be watching the Syracuse crossing my fingers for the upset. Or, at the very least, hoping some one for S F Austin punches Eric Devendorf in the face.

I've got SFA/Syracuse going on the computer. I can't figure out how I can hate and like the 'Cuse unis at the same time.

And Dayton doesn't have the standard black and blue court. It's messing me up.

Tennessee over Oklahoma State was another spiteful pick in dishonor of the Big 12 tourney. I fully expect OSU to go out in this round (or at worst, the next) because they've been dogging the NIT for the past few years and have already reached their season's goal of making the NCAA's. Tennessee's expectations were so much higher this year, so I expect them to come out strong in the second half when the excitement and adrenaline of being in the Big Dance gets warn off.

Ah, Bill Raftery just said "offensive thrust". My tournament has officially begun.

His nickname is "the solution." And he was a junior college all american after he left OU.

As much as it pains me to admit it, this looks like it's gonna be a pretty entertaining game.

SFA looks like they have never played against a zone defense.

ND St. is keeping up with Kansas. Sherron Collins has like 15 already.

Watching KU vs North Dakota State

Picked NDS to win this. They keep Collins from draining those three pointers and they will win.

27-25 NDS

Those white boys came to play.

Utah State over Marquette was one of those picks I made with absolutely no basis other than the mascot fight at the WAC tourney cracked me up.

Kansas: 27
North Dakota State: 25
6:47 left in first half.

What the deuce?!

SFA looks like they have never played against a zone defense.

When I was at the bar for lunch it was looking like Utah St. had never even heard of a zone defense.

And when I got back to work and checked the score online... they still hadn't heard of it. 13 first half points. wow.

Kind of reminds me of the year we played Temple and their matchup zone made us curl up and whimper. God, I so don't miss how feeble we used to be.

I saw the dunk - the guy kind of kicked his legs a little but it wasn't like he was cursing or slapping the backboard or landing on an opposing player or anything.

if they lose by 2, OP.com meltdown in 5...4...:D

colleyvillesooner
3/20/2009, 01:27 PM
why would they switch from a tied game to Kansas leading by 6 with 1 min to go?

They switched back after 30 sec. how stupid.

Syracuse just shut it down. The ran clock and only scored 3 pts in the last 8+ mins on 10 shots.

Well, not in my SF.com bracket, which apparently I forgot to save or something since none of my picks are in there. As the bracket says-Frozen Sooner Sucks at this.

I am convinced more than ever that people will pick the higher seeded team no matter which team's name is next to the number. Next tourney, let's really confuse people and make the 16-seeds the desired number to be and see how many people blindly still choose the 1's ;)

Travis Ford talking about Pitt

No question Pitt is one of the great teams in the country," OSU coach Travis Ford said. "They have a very experienced team, and they're very big. We've played against (Oklahoma's) Blake Griffin, but they seem to have two or three Blake Griffins on their team. We're going to have to figure something out in the next few days."

Those two or three Blake Griffins didn't show up today.

bri

Nicely done. Compliment your upcoming, vastly superior opponent while getting a subtle jab in on OU. That d*uchebag fits in nicely at aggy.

Those two or three Blake Griffins gave up 19 offensive rebounds today. One of those Blake Griffins, Sam Young, is 6-6 and doesn't even average half as many rebounds as the real one. The other guy he would be talking about is Dejuan Blair. What I want to know is who is this third guy? Tyrell Biggs?! Did he seriuosly just compare a guy who averages 6.9 points and 4.6 rebounds to Blake Griffin?!

bri
3/20/2009, 08:56 PM
Yep, because he's aggy, and aggy only knows how to do two things: Suck and take shots at OU.
