Consider yourselves personally plead as I can think of no finer bunch of folks to go have fun with this:
Dear Law Day Committee Members:
For this year’s “Ask A Lawyer” TV show, we have decided to do something a little different: we are inviting people to participate in the panel taping portion of the show by sitting in the audience and asking questions to create a town hall atmosphere. We need your help in recruiting 40-50 audience members.
Below is an invitation that we are asking you to forward to anyone you know who may be interested in attending the town hall. We would like to get a diverse audience (age, gender, race) because the issues that will be discussed (consumer law and civil rights/employment law) appeal to a broad range of people.
In addition to your family, friends and colleagues, other groups to keep in mind are your county bar association, civic groups, volunteer organizations, church groups, bar auxiliary, senior citizen groups, law students, student organizations, civil rights groups, etc. Just forward this message with your own personal plea (and don’t forget to mention the free lunch) and ask everyone to RSVP to [email protected].
Also, all Law Day Committee members are encouraged to attend this as well!
