Mustang offensive lineman Bronson Irwin has reportedly given a verbal commitment to play football at the University of Oklahoma.

According to the Rivals network Web site SoonerScoop.com, Irwin on Thursday became the Sooners' fifth verbal commitment and their first in-state pledge for the recruiting class of 2010.

The 6-foot-5, 322-pound Irwin committed after an unofficial visit to OU last weekend. He reportedly had offers from Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Arizona, Arkansas, Alabama and Mississippi.

Irwin currently is rated as the state's third-best overall prospect.

Rivals on Thursday also released its initial Top 250 nationwide rankings, and three Sooner commitments offensive lineman Tyrus Thompson (No. 102), defensive lineman Daniel Noble (No. 212) and defensive back Eddrick Loften (No. 224) made the list as four-star prospects.—JOHN E. Saying he dominated YUKON kids isn't saying much to me. Now, if you would say he dominated some UNION/JENKS kids that would be another story. The kid is BIG!

bleh! thats bullsheite....just because the coaches don't know what the fugg they are doing doesn't mean they don't have kids capable of doing something...as a coach of yukon football players, i flip the bird in your general direction.
the DT i saw him dominate... i happen to know personally and he would put 75% of the posters on this board on their backs in seconds. benches 330 as a high school senior and has good wheels...

we didn't have half the trouble with the union line this year that the kid from mustang brought....it was like watching a freshman in high school play against a 6th grader.

again, *bird*
