RJ Reynolds has a new product for those of use that are addicted. It's called Camel SNUS.

I stopped in to a gas station that I always buy my Cope from, and the dude at the counter gave me a box. It's kinda weird. It's supposed to be forfolks that smoke but can't get outside. It looks just like a SKOAL pouch, only a little smaller.

I don't smoke, so I don't see the marketing appeal. As a chewer, it didn't do anything "special" for me.

Anyway, was just wondering if anyone else had tried it.

Not too bad. A good fix if you are a dipper and are going someplace where you cant spit.

Have you tried it?

I do like the fact that it doesn't make me want/need to spit.

yeah i actually had one today for the first time at work. Its not as strong nicotine wise as dip, or skoal bandits for that matter, but it did ok to keep me from feigning.

I use real snuss...the Swedish variety...which is a lot different than this stuff. For some reason, Camel only put 1mg of nicotine in each patch, but the Swiss load theirs up with 4mg...

If you want a safer way to ingest nicotine, read this

I think I remember you mentioning that on the boards sometime in the past.

Hell, I didn't even know the stuff was from (or made) in Sweden. From what I've read, the actual stuff (probably what you use) is the most used nicotine product in Sweden.

Oh, and how do you get the stuff from Sweden?

I took some with me on our 8th grade field trip to Big Bend last year and will do so agian this year. It is a discreet way to get your nic fit on. BTW, I'd like to get me some of that swede stuff, wonder if the local tobacco barn has some.

I like the Ettan Lös loose snus, myself.

Keep it in the fridge after you get it.

np man. Don't expect it to be anything like you're used to. It's extremely fine and moist, and the Swedes put it in their upper lip. You don't have to do that, you can dip it like Skoal if you want to. AFter you get used to it, you'll never go back to American fire-cured spit tobacco.
