pretty easy to understand when you realize the guy's agent is the biggest ********* in the world of agents. Boras seems to think that all of baseball has the perceived finances of the Yankees and that none of the teams will attempt to show any indication of relative financial responsibility.

He's done a marvelous job of pricing Manny into the unemployment line. He clearly hasn't learned his lesson from when he had to come crawling back to the Yankees with his tail between his legs to take their last offer to A-Rod last year.
