So it looks like their is a pretty decent chance I will be able start my own Agribusiness Consulting Operation in the fairly near future. Which would be sweet because what could be better than having a job and a business to build? Anyway, I feel like I should come up with a name for it. Suggestions?

Not meaning to denigrate your abilities or anything, but didn't you just get in the agribusiness a year or so ago?

I suppose that is too long for a company name. It would really clutter up the business cards.

I'm not the one who decided it was a good idea to approach me to do work for them. And I've worked with some industry veterans that will go to bat for me. The way I see it, not jumping on opportunities when you see them approach you leads to seven years at Baylor.

And to be clear, this would be side hustle to my commodity trading for the time being. For now anyway, but it looks like an opportunity to get something started for myself, instead of just working for wages.

Crimsonandcreamforever has a great idea in a different SO post. Plus, you can create your own biz cards with it. His first example may work really well for you.

A fancy name isn't going to make your new business.

Use your last name and it is clear that you are putting your name and reputation on the line. If you have the last name of Butz or something, adopt the street name where you have the registered business. If you have the street address of Elm Street, then go with a native American name. My English-Cherokee dictionary says that the Cherokee word for corn is se'-lu. If that doesn't work for you, go with a proper English sounding name. Oh yeah, tack on shire to the end of it, like Berkshire Hathaway. You could attract the hobbit business. Or, you could use all of these suggestions with Elmsbutz Selushire. See that sounds so fancy.

I was planning on naming it after myself, but I figured soliciting names here would be a change of pace from the TEH OBAMA SUXXORS threads and their ilk.
