Something called "Burnt Orange Beat" rated Thompson as the #83 player in TX, for this class. Looks like there are 10-12 OT, OG and OL guys rated ahead of him from that list.
The other 2 guys we already have committments from were ranked #23 and #28 on that list.

Thanks for the update, Rhino. WOW, he went from 61 to 29 on the Orangebloods list. (They wil drop him way down, now that he's committed to OU)

Good pick-up for you guys. His stock will keep rising after the camps, as he is new to the position; he played defensive tackle until recently. He may very well end up in the Top 3 OL in Texas.
