Police say 20-year-old Chad Barela of Cushing is in police custody in Stillwater. He was spotted at a Wal-Mart in Stillwater.
Police will interview Barela at the Stillwater Police Department because of their up-to-date recording technology that Cushing police investigators say they do not have.
The Chevy Blazer that was missing from the Cushing crime scene was also found at that Wal-Mart.
Police say Barela's grandparents live in Stillwater, but it's not known why he went to the town.
Authorities say he's a significant person of interest in a triple homicide that happened in the 800 block of E. Moses Street in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Investigators say a citizen called police about 5:20 Tuesday morning, triggering an investigation into the triple murder.
Police say two males and one female were found dead in the home. Police want to stress that no children were found inside the home at the time.
