Marvin the Boxer was put to sleep last week due to a massive tumor next to his lungs. He was 5. I thought you guys would want to know that since he was a topic of conversation around here for awhile. He was truly the best dog I have ever owned.

Over the weekend my wife said I had a choice. Either buy a new dog, or we have to move. So, I am proud to introduce Norman.....

He has some pretty big shoes to fill.

Beef,
So far he is hearing and seeing fine. (Thank god) He does have selective hearing though, so we are hoping it is not partial loss.

Its hard to lose a Great dog .
Dont expect the new one to be like Marvin tho or you will be disappointed. In years past when I lost a good dog , I got a different breed or Mixed breed if you will .

Sorry fer yer Lose Bro .

Sorry to hear about Marvin. I'm sure Norman's gonna have some huge shoes to fill.

But I'm sure he'll be up to the challenge.

Love your nails, DC.

You know that shade of lipstick makes me crazy, DC.

I can't believe this happened to Marvin. I still remember the vid you had of him opening your back door.

Not that one.

I'm very sorry for your family. I know Marvin will be missed.

He will have all the peanut butter a doggy could ever want in boxer heaven

Sorry for your loss DC, 5 is way too young. Good luck with Norman, I'll bet he eats a shoe or two in the next year.

Oh, so we only get to hear from you when the dog dies? WTF?

Bummer about Marvin. Is the whole blind/deaf/dumb thing a boxer trait?

i was guessing it had to do with his coloring

Sorry to hear about Marvin. Tyson was about the same age when the cancer took him out. Best of luck with Norman. Good lookin' dog. Deaf, crazy Dudley is an absolutely amazing dog, so even if Norman loses his hearing, you'll still have an awesome boxer.

About 30% or so of white boxers are deaf.
