My new '09 Frontier SE V6 4x4. I love this leather. Nissan factory order. Still needs more black I think.

I was shocked that Nissan wouldn't even take a custom order for a standard shift with leather. So, I ordered it through the dealer and their guy down the street installed it. It still needs more black inside, IMO. Anyone with sources on where to get a black shift knob, shift boot, and center console lid is welcome to share.

Looks gooooooooood, but I'd respectfully suggest you install black carpet and black shifter and hand brake boots too.

Here's the truck's exterior.

Yeah, I'm a child of the '80s. If I could've put T-tops in it I would have. :D
Nothing quite like new-truck fever. Except motorcycle fever. This is my "Mrs. Rogue graduated again" present to myself. She always challenges me to step up on these purchases instead of justifying saving a buck at every step. Big step up from my old Tacoma with not a single luxury option. I believe it was the last truck made with manually locking hubs. If this truck is half as reliable as that one, I'll be satisfied.

I love it. Peppy engine, 6 speed with cruise control (how long has this been available? It's new technology to me), lots of cargo gadgetry in the bed-some of which I'll actually use for my kayak and camping gear, the sticky bed liner because my dog doesn't like to slide all over the plastic kind, and yes it's black. The color of my Trans-Am in high school, AC/DC's best album, and villains everywhere.

Left to do:
-wiring harness for the tow hitch
-bug guard for the hood
-in-channel window deflectors (not the stick-on kind)
-tint the front door windows
-get my money for the split rear window I decided against but paid for
(decided I'd use the rear defrost more often)
-maybe upgrade the sound (the Fosgate system is also only available on
the LE (automatic) and the super offroad, rides-like-a-tractor packages
-turn those dang tires around, I don't need white lettering
-as soon as my warranty (60m/75k)

Thanks Homey. Yeah, the floor will be black soon. Weathertech floor mats version though, the carpet will still be gray underneath.
