Man, OSU wide receivers are dropping like flies. Not that they really used anyone besides Dez Bryant anyway.

• Damian Davis is rumored to have been kicked off the team for failing a drug test, among other things. He was ranked third on the team in receiving behind Bryant and Pettigrew. He's the kid that took out Austin Box's knee.

• Ben Bowling has been charged with felony drug possession; suspended indefinitely (http://newsok.com/osus-bo-bowling-charged-with-drug-possession/article/3345039?custom_click=headlines_widget). He was ranked fourth on the team in receiving.

• Jeremy Broadway is rumored to have been kicked off the team for failing a drug test. He was ranked sixth on the team in receiving.

• William Cole has apparently left the team. He was expected to contribute heavily in 2008 before tearing up his knee in fall camp. With Bryant out for the spring, there's going to be a lot of playing time for whoever is left at WR.

STILLWATER — Four Oklahoma State football players will not remain with the team, sources close to the program told The Oklahoman Wednesday.

Receivers Damian Davis and Artrell Woods, backup offensive lineman Trent Perkins and backup defensive lineman Jeremy Gray will not be back with the team for various reasons. Davis, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound sophomore who was the third-leading receiver last season, has been dismissed for violating unspecified team rules. Davis’ transgressions were not related to any legal trouble, sources said. Woods, a sophomore whose career had been slowed by a weight-lifting accident in 2007 that left him with a cracked vertebrae, is expected to transfer and will not participate in spring practice. Perkins, a sophomore left tackle, will not return for unknown reasons and Gray, a redshirt freshman defensive tackle, has decided not to pursue a football career.

There was a rumor out a few days ago that this was going to happen. And it said that almost all the dismissals were due to failed drug tests.

So much for their run to a championship next season. It was supposed to be their year.

We assume Pot, but kicking them all off the team for first offense is maybe harsh. Could it have been an illicit drug/controlled substance? With one guy getting a Felony Charge? It would have to be a lot of pot for a Felony Charge.

Gray, a redshirt freshman defensive tackle, has decided not to pursue a football career.

Oh, so he's staying on the team.

It would have to be a lot of pot for a Felony Charge. I wouldn't be shocked if the timely raid on Bowling's drug-dealing operation had something to do with all these dismissals.

Another rumor is that Damian Davis rolled over on Bowling after failing multiple drug tests. Bowling's brother is apparently involved too.

wasn't Artrell Woods supposed to be the second coming of Hart Lee, Rashaun, D'Juan, and ADarius Bowman all "rolled" into one?

Sadly for the rest of the conference, none of the guys are named Dez Bryant.
