Heres mine.

If you spent 1 million dollars every day since the crucifixtion, you would still have over 100 Billion dollars left.

Any one else got an example?

About 64,000,000 people voted for Obama. Each Obama vote cost the taxpayers $13,000 and change.
</RLIMC>

<MACK>
That's stupid, it's all Bush's fault. Bush was president for about 2,900 days, so every day cost us $293,100,000
</MACK>

<IKE>
You are all ridiculous. If you take 850,000,000,000 as singles and tape them together end to end, you could wrap the chain of bills from the earth to the sun and back 16.7 times. The distance would take over 2.3 hours to travel...at the speed of light.
</IKE>

<LAS>
It would only make it halfway around Vin Diesel's bicep.
</LAS>

<DEAN>
It wouldn't make it half way around your head, you west coast wussy. Watch it or I'm going to permabane you.

The universe is about 14.5bn years old.

Our planet is about 4.5bn years old.

Life on the planet is about 1bn years old.

Humans have been around more or less for less than a million years.

We have recorded history less than 5,000 years.

This year the American government is going to deficit spend more than a trillion dollars.

I'm not trying to equate dollars and years. But on the other hand, the deficit spending could have feed all of humankind in the past with some left over to feed the dinosaurs.

About 1 acre on Olevet's property.

Well, 820 billion ounces equals 6,406,205,000 Gallons. Or 1.2 billion kegs of beer. Nearly 4 kegs of beer for every man, woman, child, hermaphrodites in the entire united states which is about what it will take to help forget the shenanigans going on in DC.

Anyone know how many gallons of water are in Lake Texoma when its at its peak?

My dad got an email that explains it better, but...

(With the original 900 billion package), every person or household could receive $200,000 apiece. Half of that would go back to the government for taxes. So they could spend that.

But it still leaves $100,000 for each of us. Call it stimulus. Pay down your mortagage. Put it in a college fund.

$850 billion would be enough to cover the entire state of Oklahoma with an inch of Bud Light.

850 billion would be enough to bribe the right people to turn over Bin Laden.

Probably all of Al Qaeda's leadership, in fact.

Actually, $850 billion divided by 305 million (estimated population of the U.S.) works out to about $2800. That's two thousand, eight hundred dollars. Now, don't get me wrong; I'd love to get a check for $2800 in the mail. But it wouldn't be life-changing. Heck, it wouldn't even be year-changing. It would be month-changing, for sure.

Of course, I'd just as soon not fund a bunch of pork with $2800 that I've already sent them, either.

Your dad's e-mail was flawed, as politically-charged chain e-mails (and chain e-mails in general) often are.

I've been wondering if inflation will hit as a result of this. This put it in perspective for me. thanks.

oh- nevermind.

Imagine that one sheet of paper is worth $100 billion. Now imagine that you had 8.5 sheets of paper!

I know. It's mind-blowing.

Kind of like the Zimbabwe 100 billion dollar note (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/zimbabwe/2479937/Zimbabwes-worthless-100bn-notes-sell-for-huge-profit-on-eBay.html).

It's almost like some penny stocks - those companies that aren't worth $10mn and they have a billion shares outstanding. Speculators love those. And, the major shareholders make more money trading their shares than the underlying company will ever make in terms of earnings.

Here's mine:

Around 3% of our GDP for the next two years.

Oh wait, here's another:

Pretty close to the cost of the war in Iraq so far ($845 billion), not including the cost to our economy.

Any mathimaticians who can figure out how many fans have attended OU games in history? Devide that by 850 billion.
