appear to be retired folk. I think I picked the right place to live. No noise, no drunk jackasses, and I only have to worry about making sure I don't get the mail when the mailman comes because of the rush.

There must be a Braum's nearby.

Well, Salina is only 3 hours away or so. So I guess that counts.

No Braum's? Ok, how about a Casino? They seem to attract the elderly folk.

You could always turn all granny-panty sniffy and go SSC. Some of them old broads got powerful needs! And social security checks!:D

Actually, I've been seeing the 3L down the hall that is roughly my age, so I'll hold off on that for awhile.

Nebraska won't have casino's as long a Dr. Tom Osborne is alive. The complex does have an underground garage and elevator though, which I'm sure is huge for the older folks.

Stay away from the Complex Clubhouse on Viagra Night.

Especially if there is a sign that says free beer.

Did that in Norman. Lived in at the time a rather elderly complex, in fact, I was the youngest at 31. Great place for a grad student and a large apartment with quiet residents.

EDIT: The only down side was the occasional paramedic/coroner toting out the deceased of natural causes resident. Happened 2 or 3 times in the 2 years I lived at this location.

Sounds like SicEm needs to move up there with you.

Mrs. V and I have talked about how nice it would be to live in one of those complexes restricted to senior citizens only. Quiet, no kids, no asswipes with loud cars/bikes/stereos, no stupid college girls driving 40 miles an hour in their ****ty Cavaliers or Cobalts or whatever...I'd do it in a heartbeat.

We live in a neighborhood where it seems like a lot of our "neighbors" are hardly ever around... perhaps the are second-houses for commuting purposes, or perhaps they are just investments in the strong (well, it isn't going south as quickly as others at least) Tulsa housing market?

In any event, house parties are few and far between (half the time it's across the street, half the time it's our house), everyone has a home security system sign out front so there's no crime (not to mention the police officer that parks his car outside his house down the block) and it's the perfect side-neighborhood for walking dogs, which a lot of people do.

so do you share a lawn? If so, be careful when you are on it. I hear they hate that sort of thing.
