A new computer, 6gigs of ram, 640gig hdd, DVD/cd burner w/lighscribe, 5.1 speakers Insignia series brand, new digital camera and printer.

Yeah, it's tax time and I just did my part to stimulate the economy.
Now it's up to you wankers out there to do your part. :D

I'll post some pics of the new machine later.

Premium, I wanted Ultimate but none of the computers had it loaded on them and I didn't really want to deal with installing it.
It works fantastic, the speakers are alrigh, nothing to write home about but better than standard computer speakers from long ago.

...being able to walk your Family through the South Oval without having to see someone with their beanbag hanging out of their underwear.

You don't really lose much from ultimate to premium, mainly some networking stuff

I've got about a terrabyte of data on my machine right now and that's without counting the 300 gigs or so I've got stashed on my wife's machine or the stack of DVDs I've got older crap archived on!

I have 2.5TB of storage right now, included in that is a 1TB NAS drive for a storage server.

I have started buying the parts to build a new computer. So far I have bought an Intel Core i7/920 CPU, Gigabyte EX58-U4P motherboard and a Blu-ray/HD-DVD ROM. Next up is 12GB of RAM, a 500GB/10,000 RPM hard drive for software, a 1TB hard drive for storage, a Blu-ray burner, Vista64 Ultimate, an ATI FireGL V5600 or nVidia Quadro FX1700 video card, Adobe Master Collection and 3DSMax. I also want to get a couple of 22 or 24 widescreen monitors....that should stimulate the economy some.
