Blake's father Mark and uncle Mike both played college football for Colorado State and spent time in the NFL. Mark was a fourth-round pick as a tight end in 1979 and spent five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts, while Mike was a first round pick as a defensive end in 1979 and spent 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
