In a vote 59-0 Rod Blagojevich has been ousted as our governor!

And, for those of you watching CNN or MSNBC - he is a Democrat (since they didn't seem to think it was that important to identify his party affiliation, but identifying his successor's as Democrat was important!)

If Blago is convicted an sent to prison, there will be four Democrat governors and ONE REPUBLICAN governor of Illinois sent to prison!

Usual knee-jerk "let's make everything partisan" crap aside, this sh*t is kind of funny:


"I love the people of Illinois today more than I ever have before," he said. And in a joking reference to Chicago's history of crooked politics, he reached down to a boy in the crowd of well-wishers and said: "I love you, man. You know, this is Chicago. You can vote for me. You're old enough."
