I drove in from Altus to see it in OKC while my wife went shopping. Went back home that night driving in one of the worst thunderstorms of my life. Gary said there were 70,000 foot tops!!!!

Something I didn't know until a couple of days ago: artist HR Giger won an Oscar for his character design of the critter in Alien.

Something I also didn't know: they take great pains to never name the critter's species. Every so ofter you hear "xenomorph," but that just means "alien form."

Something I DID know: Alien vs. Predator is one of the best buddy-cop movies ever. Particularly if you dub Danny Glover's dialog from Lethal Weapon over any scene where it looks like the Predator might want to talk.

Something I DID know: Alien vs. Predator is one of the best buddy-cop movies ever. Particularly if you dub Danny Glover's dialog from Lethal Weapon over any scene where it looks like the Predator might want to talk.
