Florida 2:1

OU 5:1

Texas 8:1

USC 8:1

Alabama 10:1

I haven't taken a peek at the odds, but it would not surprise me to see them close to 20:1. If the team stays close to intact, then that could be right but if Robinson left early...then it goes up big time say...75:1

Robinson would have to really impress as a RB or WR in order to leave early for anything other than arena ball. He has to build up his arm strength big time.

They lost to ole miss last year and still won the BCS title.

I do not think they will fair as good this year. Especially knowing how cocky and arrogant the team is.

Actually their schedule is pretty hard. They play @ Ohio State, @ Arizona State, @ Oregon, @ Cal, @ Notre Dame..... by far their hardest schedule in the past couple years, and not to mention they just lost that guy who takes the snaps.

I think 5:1 is very optimistic for OU considering the recent 1-3 record against Texas and the 0-5 record in the last 5 BCS games. It won't do anything to the computer, but the human voters will remember and it is going to a take Bob proving he can still win a big game on 10/17 to start the process of cleansing the thoughts of the voters. OU's schedule is why tougher than the horns, but after the "voting" situation last year and ESPN's media campaign for the horns to be in the NC game Bob must beat Mack this year because there isn't gonna be a 3 way tie to bail him out.

That's what everyone said last season when OU was 0-4 in the previous BCS bowls and 1-2 in the last 3 UT games. If ever there was a season where recent history would have hurt OU's rankings, it was last season. Fortunately, the team was judged by what they did on the field and it will be the same next season. But I agree with your conclusion - in most years it comes down to who wins in Dallas and the odds are it will happen again this year. The 3-way tie was an aberration.

UF has their entire two deep defense back next year, in addition to some high quality redshirts and guys returning from injury. If we score 14 a game, we should win with that defense.

With Harvin gone, the other guys will get more touches and there is plenty of talent on the shelf to fill the void. Demps and Rainey were freshmen and will only be better next year.

Spikes and Tebow came back for one thing, an undefeated season, so they will keep the guys on both sides of the ball focused. No Ole Miss sleepwalking games next year.

When I did my research on BCS odds I looked for Okie States odds to win the BCS and I was directed to similar sites like, When hell freezes over; When T. Boone donates to OU; when Oprah passes on a twinkie; when aggies build a bonfire that doesn't crater; And when Paris Hilton eschews sex.
