These things never really hyped up the matches for me on these events. Leave it to the pros. I thought it was dumb as well when the WCW had Dennis Rodman doing matches.

Yeah, crap like this is to pop a PPV buy from the casual fan. At least WCW had the common sense to keep their celebrities in tag matches.

Common sense and dubya cee dubya....interesting...I like watching Jay Leno and Karl Malone wrestle as much as the next guy, but I don't know if I'm up for The Rassler

Mickey actually trained pretty hard for the flick with Afa, Jr. and some other veterans. Who knows, maybe it won't suck?

It certainly won't be any worse than watching Karl Malone try to execute a Diamond Cutter. BANG! :D

That's a pity, 'cause former Sooner Jake Hager is the EC Dub champeen.
I really used to enjoy it but the talent level seems to have dropped now that they have tried to clean up the companies image. If it wasn't for Rhino and you, I would never have known Jake was called up or not, i'm just an old schooler and never really had a use for guys like Cena and his bunch.

Duggan/Rick Steiner/Harley Race/The Steamboat/Snuka...those are guys I used to think were the ****.
Cena just reeks of it.

Never followed wrastlin' much, but enjoyed the brouhaha when Jerry Lawler did the pile driver thing to Andy Kaufman. That was drama!

Well yeah, if you're still expecting the old-skool "rasslin'" then it takes some getting used to. You should check out TNA over on Spike every Thursday. In lots of ways they're inferior to WWE, but they tend to let the guys go inside the ring. Plus, they've got Scott Steiner, so you'd be right at home. :D

Mickey Rourke "Knocks Out" Chris Jericho In The Wrestler 2: Armed & Fabulous

This weekend at Wrestlemania 25, Chris Jericho called out Mickey Rourke, who then stepped into the ring and "knocked him out" with a "left hook." I guess now that the Oscar (you got screwed) campaign is over, Rourke's been given free rein by his publicists to "you know what, do whatever you want, Mickster."
