Kenney admitted the quarterback situation at both schools played a role in his decision. “Sam Bradford won the Heisman. He turned down the NFL to compete for a national championship again at Oklahoma. There will be a ton of NFL scouts looking at him next year. They need some impact players at wide receivers, and think I can be one of them. What wide receiver wouldn’t want to be part of all that?”

Reuben Randle, can you hear me? This is your common sense speaking to you. Come to Oklahoma. Win a championship. Be an impact player on day one Reuben!

Juco players are always hit n miss, especially with us it seems. I hope he pans out cus he could really help

I guess he isn't a mid year transfer?

Yep. You have to wonder why he went Juco in the 1st place - so many times it's grade problems. If it was a maturity issue, he may have grown up.

I hope he works out. The guy apparently start playing football his senior year in high school. I suspect that his route running is going to be very raw so I'm not sure how much impact he'll have this season - especially since he won't be going through spring drills.

I'd bet grades at his juco he's carrying a 2.84(thats my best recallection, I know its not any higher than that). Its not a BAD gpa, but he may have worked his butt off to get it that high.

One way or another, we can find a spot for him. He punts, returns, plays WR, and has played DB. He seems very athletic if a bit raw. He made a great decision. What an opportunity!

I hope he's ready to go (on all fronts).

I like what a lot of the Georgia fans had to say at the bottom of the article after he chose OU over the dawgs. Some had good things to say, but other not so much.

Dude is big and fast! The schools offering him are no joke... Get ready! Big win for Norvell

This is a nice catch, verstile with speed and getting him in here early for Spring ball. It really speaks volumes for him to start so late in HS and playing both sides of the ball at the next level. Not to mention, from what I've read, the dude is one of those high character kind of players, a team guy.

Welcome to Norman Cameron, now go play for Championships.

We're due and the beast is growing hungry. I don't mean to be captain downer but I've been on edge since that game in Florida and I hope the team is feeling the same. A long time to stew and get ready to light some other teams up next year.

This guy could prove to be a great recruit. Looks like he has really good hands (which is a need). I assume he will be here this spring, he should be ready to play this fall with the JUCO experience. I'm extremely glad he chose to come to OU.

I'm guessing one reason he went the juco way is, according to scout.com he only played high school football his senior year. They say he can punt and kick, Goodbye Mr. Stevens.

Rarely is a position player used for punting or kicking. If they are on the field for a bunch of snaps they could be out of gas or may need to walk off the sting of a hit. I have seen position players used as back-ups for kickers for emergency situations.

Don't read too much into the 2.84 GPA. It's tough playing a sport full-time and being in classes at a juco. At OU, he'll have tons more resources to help academically while he's playing football, so he'll do fine.

Wouldn't have mattered. They could've just picked their slowest guy to spy on all 11 of our players and stuffed it.
