View Full Version : Movie Buff's Actor Trivia

12
1/24/2009, 06:52 AM
With all of us at command of the Almighty Internet, trivia questions have become almost obsolete. With a couple of clicks, we can find the answer to most everything.

THE CHALLENGE: Present facts about an actor's character(s) that aren't too general ("they like this brand of toothpaste", or "I once saw them in Vegas"). Give enough of a clue that we'll all have something to go on.

First clue: As a youngster, she was thirsty but surrounded by water she couldn't drink. Later on in her acting career, this young photographer was offered a fish before participating in a playground game.

Answer: Tina Majorino. Her roll as "Enola" in Water World was the first major sighting. She was a child in a landless world. Cast as "Deb" in Napoleon Dynamite made her much more famous. She shoots Glamour Shots. At the end of the movie, Napoleon offered her a delicious bass before they played tetherball.

I'm sure there are better clues out there, but this is just an example of this little game's intent. Feel free to use quotes or other hints.

So... present a clue and see if anyone can guess the answer.

Or not.

First Clue: He began his movie career as a caveman in what has been widely claimed as one of the 50 worst movies of all time, and is now a well known movie icon who's bite is worse than his bark. Oh and I did see him in vegas.

This actor spent time as a carpenter, his face reflects a scar from an accident on a jobsite, he was an "Independent" contractor.
I'm sure he had a problem with "flies" when working in some areas, but never suffered from an accident that might cause memory problems.

Never garnered much attention early on in his acting career, thankfully he always had a great cast around him....never having to fly solo.

I probably gave away too much info on him.
