My mother sent this to me for my birthday. It is an HO scale collectible Hawthorne Village train. I thought that it was pretty cool. She has sent me the first three pieces but more cars are suppose to come out later. Check it out...

It is pretty cool, there are more track options like switches and such. I am going to have it circle my bar in the basement.

I had a chance to buy an OU train set (HO scale) about five years ago but the cars were about $70-$80 bucks apiece,although they were going to throw in track for free.Not sure if this is the same set or not but it was too rich for me.Congratualtions,nice tain.

If anyone out there cares,I ove trains and OU AND my birhday is March 26th. :)

Now, THAT is cool. Outstanding. I like the center piece too. Wonder if they sell this kind of stuff in Texas? Probably not, all we can get down here is orange plastic cows with horns.

I have that complete train set of ten train cars and track.It is sweet. Somebody was selling theirs recently on Ebay for about $100.00 total..Hellava buy as each train car cost $70 bucks. You pay it out and can buy it on Hawthorne Village through Collectibles Today. Thay also sell a Xmas village that has several buildings in that set and one's a partial stadium.

Your Mom must really "LOVE" you for if she sent the whole set thats around $700.00

I have seen the village which does not do me much good for what I want to eventually do. I did not find any additional cars yet.
