So, with my better half being a Tech grad and buying several athletic tickets from the Tech AD, I get the glorious honor of them filling up my inbox with cool new merchandise. I got this doozy in their today...

Wonder why they left off the Oklahoma game?
Leaving off the loss. Typical tech behavior. Actually, I surprised they didn't claim to beat us, they've done that with a loss before. ;)

Oh come on, they didn't leave it off, there it is... right under the Best Season Ever logo at the top! :D
How did the Big 12 South Champions do in the Big 12 Title game?

That is embarrassing!
Big 12 South Champs...WTF?

they should at least say Big 12 South co-Champs...
it's crazy that they are 0-4 in the Cotton Bowl

That looks like a joke. I really can't believe it doesn't say co-champs and how in the hell do you leave off your losses???

Granted, last year really was their best year in the school's history football-wise. I give Mike Leach a bunch of credit for getting that program competitive and into the national spotlight. It's a true testament to his abilities as a coach, no matter how eccentric he is.

Sad that the best season ever includes a bowl loss in your home state

I thought the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if they called themselves the reigning Big 12 south champs next year.
Nice though that their 500th win was over Texass.

It must come in only small sizes.
Not large enough to list the last two games.:D

"First 11 Win Season"
Don't think I would put that on a shirt and wear it.

Exactly what I thought. I am a huge Tech supporter, but yikes, this is bad. I guess you have to hold on to something though. Maybe I am just spoiled being a Sooner.

So, with my better half being a Tech grad...
I'm not sure how you could possibly choke down the words "better half being a Tech grad" without puking all over the keyboard.

Without Tech this year, we watch the horns in the title game. I say let 'em have some fun. Also the Crabtree catch with :01 on the clock will finally take all the air-time away from that dreaded statue of liberty play. Tech can do no wrong in my book (until we play them next year ;))

I would bet on it. They do weird **** like that.

Almost makes up for the botched call in 2005, doesn't it?

I hold that grudge against the refs - so no.

I guess that would be slightly more rational, but I hated Tech intensely because of the call for a long time (ok, two years...) for that. Same with the Oregon game the next year.
Eh. Football ain't rational. Phucking ducks.

This made my day.
I'm going to buy this shirt, and hang it up on my wall. From now on when I have a bad day, I'll just glance that way and have a good laugh.

WTF are the doing listing a win against Texas? I've read enough Austin analysis to know that all that matters is head-to-head. If Tech had actually beaten Texas, as alleged by this shirt, UT would've been shouting for Tech to go to the Big XII Championship Game. They were not, so I can only surmise that this "win" by Tech is a big lie.
