just saw something about him possibly looking at other schools, anybody got details?:mad:

Everything I could find on the internet had him looking at Texas A&M and LSU, but my guess is it would be A&M.

Rivals has him listed at a commit to OU. That's Jones, Mahoney, and Ward backing out.

Could you blame the guy for wanting to go play with Griffin since they'll probably use him in the offense and that wasn't going to happen with the depth we have at RB. I'm only saying if he chooses to go. I know that he is projected at a CB for us and a lot of guys want to play offense in college.

yep it looks like he's now going to be a bear where he can play as a true freshman and try to make it to a bowl game instead of playing for championships.

Not trying to dog a kid with alot of talent, I'm sure. However, honestly, do we need a RB in this year's class? We have DM, Chris Brown, Madu playing next year with JJ and and Jermie Calhoun chomping at the bits to get in. It is highly unlikely Jones would have sniffed the field for the next two years. Next year we may have to start looking at the future of RB again, but recruiting an RB this year may be a little overkill at the position.

He's not a RB though, he's an athlete. Like SoonerFan28 said, he was projected to play corner.

What's the talk about Mahoney backing out?

Guys, were OU, one backs out and a door opens for a better athete to step in. Wewant guys who are committed to be the best that are willing to wait there turn if they aren't the best!!
