I need to find something else to watch. A Maude marathon sounds entertaining.Course there will be some great infomercials on somewhere I am sure. Maybe they will have a potty cam to see how that 6000:1 person to toilet ratio is gonna work.


Will all the O's be taken off the keyboards?

I won't get to watch the inauguration. However, the only thing bad about this is how the media will comb through every little detail and broaden it all out to make a story of each of these details hours after it's over.

an inauguration without riots speaks volumes. dont worry tuba. just dim the lights. light some candles. put on your favorite rush clips. tell your parents not to come in your room, and...well, you know. have fun with yourself.

Marketing works!

The spoiled brats are too busy "having fun with themselves" at the sight of "The One" to bother rioting.

But I am sure they have scheduled some flag burnings and window breaking later in the day.

Also sure that 50,000+ cops and $200 Mill worth of entertainment doesn't hurt either.

Saddest part of my day - flipping on ESPN in the break room just to escape for awhile and they were showing......the inauguration.

I'm not saying this wasn't an historical day and the activities in Washington should be ignored but - I sit near the waiting room in my building and they have the tv on CNN all day which is annoying enough. But today, it went on at 7:20 with the volume up way too loud and by lunch time I was about ready to throw a WII remote and just get away. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

I settled for not having the TV on and not looking at the usual news sites I go to.

It worked perfectly. I'm still blissfully unaware that anything happened today. :D
